Oh no! A tragedy, big and wet—
My plants are soggy, their leaves upset!
The Java fern flops, the Buce looks drowned,
Even the moss has started to frown.

The stems cry out, “We’re far too moist!

But lo, from the corner, salvation calls,
A towel with plants all over its walls!

It swoops to the rescue, soft and divine,
Drying each leaf with a touch so fine.
“Just slightly,” it whispers, “not too much,
Your aquatic flair needs a gentle touch.”

The crypts perk up, the rotala gleams,
Their soggy nightmare, a forgotten dream.
So here’s to the towel, my leafy friend,
For keeping plants dry-ish till the very end!
